A week or so ago, there was a report that stated that anti depressants didn't make any effect on mild depression, and based on that report, I stopped taking the pills the Dr had prescribed for me.
In it's place, I decided to use massage and aromatherapy.
Well, today another report was released :
Aromatherapy May Make You Feel Good, But It Won't Make You Well, Study Shows
ScienceDaily (Mar. 4, 2008) — One of the most comprehensive investigations done to date on aromatherapy failed to show any improvement in either immune status, wound healing or pain control among people exposed to two often-touted scents.

Now, the reason I think I am biased is that I fully believe the first report ... but I think the second is a load of shite.
So I'm biased. So sue me

In the end, you just have to decide what's making you feel better and ignore these damned reports...they're like reports on food...every single damned week something which was good last month is now bad for us this month...boring!! And there must be an awful lot of very depressed people around throwing all sorts of pills down their throats to get happy again for all these reports to keep coming out...maybe the root cause of so much unhappiness ought to be tackled first then there might be no need for all these wretched pills, but there will always be room for massage and even aromatherapy for pleasure and relaxation...I found it gorgeous when I had my back ops...just our hands were done and our feet and it was the only time I wasn't in agony because made me forget about it...LOL...big hugs...
