Well, I spent the weekend in Aberdeen, having my Usui Reiki I attunement and some training.
It was a very powerful weekend, and I feel like the Carol who left here Saturday morning isn't the Carol who is sitting here just now. You probably wouldn't notice the difference, but it is there, and it is profound.
I know there is a lot of scepticism about these sort of things, but some things I experienced this past weekend were deeply personal and ... hmm, traumatic isn't the right word, but - I guess - cleansing?
I know there have been some things I have been stifling and refusing to look at first hand, putting on a brave face and pretending everything is okay, but I have been shown that it is time to turn my face and look things straight on, and deal with them.
