Well, autumn has well and truly arrived. Yesterday (or was it Wednesday?) we had frost on the grass. Brr. :>>

I have been poorly all week. Ger brought some nasty little virus home last weekend and I caught it. It makes you incredibly tired, shaky all the time, nauseous, dire rear. Lovely. I'm feeling much better now. I can stay awake all day, for a start! I just vacuumed the living room, and I'm having to have a sit down, though - my hands are shaking so badly I can barely type.

Anyway, the good news. My brother in law (Himself's brother) and his wife have been married for nigh on 20 years and they have been trying to have a baby all that time. They have suffered miscarriages, an ectopic pregnancy, and lots of lost hope and shattered dreams. The good news is, though, they are now 13 weeks pregnant! She has posted pictures of the baby and a little video set to music, and I can barely tell anyone without filling up. I am so happy for them.

Babies truly are little miracles.
