Well, so far, so good :)

I had my nurse appt this morning for bloods for the low ferritin levels. Results for that next week sometime. Looking at my fingernails, I will be expecting a prescription fairly soon!

Saw the Dr who was really just following up. Says the permanent headache is normal for being on these pills. He was vaguely concerned about my eyes so he referred me to get them checked. Decided my sore throat warranted investigation because the pills can destroy bone marrow, so sent me back to the nurse for another blood test. I get the results for that on Monday, but I'm not worried coz I am bound to have just picked up what Rachel has just fought off.

Went into town to get my eyes checked. Apparently because of the swelling of the eyes, my lids aren't shutting properly, which is causing dry eye. I have drops and a new script for spex. I shall have to drag my pal in to help me choose them. Ever tried choosing new spex when you can't see in the mirror?

Received notification this morning that I have been accepted into the Yoga Teacher Training course starting in February. If it was starting tomorrow I would have to drop out because I don't feel well enough. Hopefully I will feel better come February though!

Also I found out that as they caught the thyroid problem early they think I will only be on the pills for a maximum of 18 months rather than the life sentence I anticipated. Yay!

So who says Friday 13th is bad luck?
